NCSC has set up the following distribution centres with the support of the schools and industries involved in the project.

Schools in Gloucestershire that wish to register for an account to be able to book equipment drop crates should contact the NCSC team at CyberSchoolsHubs@ncsc.gov.uk. They will then be assigned based on their location to one of the distribution centres detailed below and provided a Cheqroom account. Training can be provided on how to make a reservation, with the checkout process being run by the Distribution Centre POC. Online help is also available via the application (which is web based or mobile phone based). Justification for booking the equipment should be made in the comment field so that the NCSC team can understand how the equipment is being used.

Equipment drop crates can only be booked out for a maximum of one school half term (either 6 or 7 weeks) and must be returned to the distribution centre before school closes for the half term holiday period. Should equipment not be booked out for the following half term then a further half term can be booked (however equipment still needs to be returned at the end of the first booking for audit purposes). Ideally teachers should only book equipment for the time that they are going to be using it for, this allows a wider range of schools to make use of the available equipment.

Not all equipment is available at all distribution centres as the initial equipment stock was based on previous use/bookings. Should you want equipment to be made available through a distribution centre that you are assigned to then please contact the NCSC team.

Teachers are responsible for the pick-up and drop off of all equipment crates and should liaise directly with the distribution centre POC listed above. Teacher should ensure that the drop crate on pick up / drop off has the required equipment within it (although the Distribution Centre POC will also audit the crates) and any damages/issues/losses should be reported on drop off to the Distribution Centre POC.
